We booked Cape Jervis Holiday Units for its convenient location to the ferry point, and it did not disappoint. Being just 5 minutes away was perfect, especially with kids who loved playing in the cubby house right out front. The check-in process was a breeze - we simply rang the doorbell and were promptly greeted with our paperwork and keys. The host even accommodated our late check-in request and had the unit lighted up for our arrival. The facilities were in good working order and having cooking facilities made our stay even easier. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely 2 bedroom home-like feel of the units, equipped with all the necessary amenities. Plus, the night-time view of the stars was simply beautiful.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

The units at Cape Jervis Holiday Units are nestled among beautiful gum trees on a spacious 2.5-acre property, offering stunning sea views. As a nature lover, I absolutely adored waking up to the serene setting and feeling connected to the natural surroundings.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the private bathrooms with only showers. However, I understand that others might still find this setup perfectly convenient for their needs.

Title: A Memorable Family Getaway
My wife says that the only thing she wished for was a designated children's playground within the property.

We had a fantastic time staying here for New Year's! the cabins were well-appointed and had all the facilities we needed. the location was perfect for catching the ferry to Kangaroo Island, just a short drive away. Plus, we loved the fact that there was a pub across the road where we enjoyed delicious fish and chips, experiencing the iconic Aussie pub culture.
The bathroom and kitchen could use some updating, but they were still perfectly adequate. It would have been even better if there was wifi available in the units, rather than having to go to the reception area.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was charming and reminded me of my own home. It had a homely feel that made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The general areas were also well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist me whenever I needed anything. It made my stay even more enjoyable knowing that I was in good hands.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for seniors, it would be for the staff to provide a bit more assistance with luggage. As a senior, it was a bit challenging for me to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs to my cabin.

The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.
